The annual Christmas in St. Bernard and Holiday Light Contest will take place on Saturday, December 2nd from 6-9pm.  See attached flyers for additional details. 

Special CIC Meeting Cancelled

The Community Improvement Corporation that was originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 28, 2017 has been cancelled. 

Holiday Trash Collection Schedule for Week of Thanksgiving

The Service Department and Administration Building will be closed on Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving. The holiday waste collection schedule for the week of Thanksgiving will be as follows:  Monday and Tuesday collections will remain on normal schedule.  Wednesday collection will be RECYCLING ONLY for ALL households.  There will be no collection on Thursday or Friday. 

Civil Service Meeting Postponed to November 21st

The Civil Service meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th has been postponed.  The meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 21st at 7:00pm in the lower level conference room of City Hall. 

Meeting for New Council Members November 16, 2017

There will be a meeting for all newly elected Council members at 6:00pm on Thursday, November 16th (prior to COW meeting) to discuss committee assignments.  The meeting will take place in Council Chambers.

Holiday Trash Collection Schedule for Veteran's Day

The Service Department and Administration Building will be closed on Friday, November 10th in observance of Veteran's Day.  There will be no trash collection on Friday.  This week's collection schedule:  Normal Thursday collection will take place on Wednesday.  Normal Friday collection will take place on Thursday.  Monday and Tuesday collections remain unchanged.  Thank you!

Kiddie Fire Extinguisher Recall

Kidde United Technologies, in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled almost 38 million Kidde fire extinguishers This recall involves two styles of Kidde fire extinguishers: plastic handle fire extinguishers and push-button Pindicator fire extinguishers. Hall Reservations for January through June of 2018 begin Tuesday, November 14th.

We will be accepting reservations for January through June of 2018 beginning November 14th at 8:00am.  You MUST be a REGISTERED RESIDENT of  St. Bernard in order to rent the halls.  Please review rules for hall rental here. 

Administration Building Closing at 12:00pm for Election Day

The Administration Building will close at 12:00pm on Tuesday, November 7th for Election Day.  Polls open at Municipal Building, 120 Washington Ave, from 6:30am-7:30pm. Please exercise your right to vote!
