Notice of Exam for Position of Police Officer

The St. Bernard Civil Service Commission is seeking to establish a new eligibility list for the position of Police Officer.  Click HERE to view the official Notice of Exam with further details and information.  Deadline for entry level candidates to apply, take the FrontLine National Exam, and submit all required information through the National Testing Network is Monday, June 24, 2024 at 5:00pm.  Entry level candidates must also be able to take the Physical Agility Test on Saturday, July 13th at 9:00am, no exceptions.  

Lateral Transfer ONLY Police Officer Application - Deadline for submittal is Monday, June 24, 2024 at 5:00pm.  See NOTICE for details and requirements.  Applicants may be exempt from the FrontLine National Exam if they meet the following criteria:  OPOTA Certified with 2 years of full-time experience with a municipal department, with no disciplinary action resulting in suspension or loss of pay within the last 12 months.
